In 2015 ODI launched #GlobalChallenges: ideas and actions to change the world, a debate series bringing together the world’s most influential thinkers, decision makers, business leaders and opinion makers. The aim of each event is to share ideas, debate and highlight practical action around major global issues.

The identity reflects a rapidly changing world and the potential to make a positive impact on it. Keynote speakers have included Professor Jeffrey Sachs, a world-renowned economist, and Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and the UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy on Climate Change.
